What to do If Something Goes Wrong

Even with great planning, incidents can still happen. Here’s what to do if something goes wrong:

Emergencies

  • If there is an immediate threat or serious injury, call 9-1-1.
  • On campus, also call NAIT Protective Services at 780.471.7477.

After the Incident

  • Notify NAITSA Campus Clubs within 48 hours by emailing askclubs@nait.ca.
  • Include a detailed incident report:
    • What happened
    • When and where it occurred
    • Who was involved
    • How it happened
    • Contact info of all parties involved

You have a legal and ethical duty to respond and report. Failing to do so can be seen as negligence—not taking proper precautions when you should have.
