What Happens After You Submit a Purchase Request

After you submit a Purchase Request, your club’s next responsibility is to complete the review process. This is done by your club’s signing authorities (executive members).

Financial Signing Authority Review

All three club signing authorities must approve the request in the following order:

Each reviewer must complete their stage in this exact order. Skipping or completing stages out of order will delay your request.

Important: The first stage shown (“Submitter” with the comment ‘Initial Stage Set’) is generated automatically. It is not part of the financial approvals.

How to Review a Purchase Request

Step 1: Go to your club’s organization page on ookslife.ca.
Click the gear icon to manage the page.

Step 2: Click Finance in the Organization Tools menu.

Step 3: You’ll see a list of all club finance requests.
Click the request you want to review.

Step 4: Select your correct role in the stage dropdown.
Type either ‘approve’ or ‘deny’ in the comment box (this is required). Click Save to confirm your review.

No comment = the review does not count.

Final Approval From NAITSA Campus Clubs

Once all three reviewers have completed their stages (in the correct order and with comments), as seen here:

Next, NAITSA Campus Clubs will:

  • Review the full request.

  • Approve it for processing.

If someone skips their stage or forgets to comment, NAITSA Campus Clubs may reset that stage — which means everyone may have to re-do their part.
