Understanding Purchase Request Statuses

Wondering where your Purchase Request is in the process? Here’s what each status means in ookslife.ca:

Unapproved

This means your request is still pending. No decision has been made yet, and it’s waiting for action — either from your club’s financial signing authorities or NAITSA Campus Clubs.

Approved

NAITSA Campus Clubs has reviewed and approved your request for processing. The approved funds are now encumbered — which means they’re set aside and no longer counted in your club’s available balance. At this point, you can consider the money unofficially spent.

Completed

This status is set by NAITSA Campus Clubs staff only. It means everything is done — payment has been issued to the payee and the Purchase Request is officially closed.

Cancelled / Denied

The request will not move forward. Most often, this happens when:

  • A request has been sitting in pending (Unapproved) status for 60 days or more.
  • The request was inactive or incomplete.
    If this happens, you can always submit a new Purchase Request if needed.
