Promote Your Club
Getting the word out about your club is key to connecting with students, building your community, and getting people to your events. NAITSA Campus Clubs offers several ways to help you spread the word, both on and off campus.
Advertising Basics
All club advertising is subject to NAITSA approval. Whether you’re promoting on posters, Instagram, SATVs, or sandwich boards, the visual content must follow these guidelines:
Required Elements:
- Your club name or logo must be clearly visible on all materials.
- Content must be appropriate for public viewing.
Not Allowed:
- Any content that is defamatory toward individuals or groups.
- Sexist imagery or depictions (e.g., sexualized attire).
- Racist, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive content.
- Incomplete or misleading event information.
- Unauthorized use of copyrighted content.
Before submitting visuals, ask yourself: “Would this be respectful, inclusive, and clearly represent our club to the NAIT community?”
You’ll be asked to upload your poster materials for review on the Event Submission form on ookslife.ca.
Available Promotion Channels
There are several ways to promote your club and events across campus. Explore the options and choose the ones that work best for your message and audience:
Sandwich Boards
Looking for a moveable, reusable option? Clubs can book sandwich boards through CHEQROOM and place them in high-traffic campus areas.
- Available for up to 2 weeks at a time.
- Use the chalk markers provided to decorate your board.
- Boards must be returned on time and used respectfully on campus.
Sandwich boards are ideal for promoting longer-running events, campaigns, or general club awareness.
