How to Order from the Nest
Whether you’re ordering catering for an event or booking food for an in-house event, follow these steps:
- Email nest@nait.ca with the following information:

- Your full food order, including any dietary or religious restrictions
-
2. Receive and review the quote from the Nest team.
-
-
- Request revisions if needed.
-
- Submit a Purchase Request on ookslife.ca and attach the quote.
-
- All club signing authorities must approve the request before it proceeds.
-
- Once your Purchase Request is approved by NAITSA Campus Clubs, send the confirmation email to nest@nait.ca to finalize and secure your order.
Day-of payments are not accepted unless pre-arranged.
If You’re Picking Up Catering for Another Campus Location
If your catering order will be picked up from the Nest and served elsewhere on campus:
- You must submit an Event Submission on ookslife.ca.
- In the form, check off that the event includes food.
- Your club will be responsible for transporting and serving the food—this means you must:
- Have a student with a valid Food Safety Certificate on-site.
- Complete and submit an Alberta Health Services (AHS) Food Activity Form.
See the Student Prepared Food page for full requirements and guidelines.

Important Notes
- Quotes expire, so order early to avoid delays.
- Once an order is confirmed, no changes will be accepted.
- If the event is cancelled within 48 hours, the Nest may charge a 25% cancellation fee.
- For large orders, bring a cart or wagon (book one through CHEQROOM if needed).
- Clubs are responsible for Nest Eatery equipment while it’s in their possession.
