Planning a Club Event? Here’s What You Need to Know
Clubs can host all kinds of events and activities to help reach their goals and connect with members. Whether it’s a game night, a workshop, a community outing, or a celebration—each event brings your club to life!
Before your club hosts any activity (on or off campus), you must submit an Event Submission form to NAITSA Campus Clubs. This helps us support your event and ensure everything runs smoothly.
What Counts as a Club Event or Activity?
Clubs can plan a wide range of events and activities—and NAITSA Campus Clubs is here to support you every step of the way! If your club is getting together for any reason, chances are it’s an event that needs to be submitted.
Examples of Club Events:
- Program hoodie sales or other merchandise sales.
- Bake sales and fundraisers.
- Graduation celebrations.
- Weekly or monthly club meetings.
- Karaoke nights, board game nights, or video game nights.
- Movie nights.
- Lunch & Learns or speaker presentations.
- Social mixers or networking events.
- Off-campus outings like bowling, laser tag, escape rooms, etc.

If You’re Gathering—It’s an Event!
As a general rule: Any time your club is gathering on-campus or off-campus, it counts as an event. That means you’ll need to submit an Event Submission form on ookslife.ca for approval before your activity takes place.
Even if it’s something casual or recurring—like a weekly meetup—submitting your event helps us support you better and ensures everything runs smoothly.
