Ookslife.ca as an Advisor’s tool

Club Advisors can play an important behind-the-scenes role in supporting club success. Access to your student club’s page on ookslife.ca helps you stay connected and provide timely support when needed.

Gaining ookslife.ca access
  • During registration or re-registration, clubs can list up to two Club Advisors.

  • Listing a name does not automatically grant access. The club must assign you the Advisor role in the Roster tool on ookslife.ca.

  • Most Advisors are given view-only access, but clubs can also choose to grant Full Roster access. This can be especially helpful during executive transitions.
Why Advisor Access Matters

Having access to your club’s page on ookslife.ca allows you to stay connected and provide helpful support without stepping on toes. Here’s how:

  • Stay Informed:
View club events, forms, submissions, and leadership updates—all in one place.
  • Access Key Documents:
Review forms and files to offer guidance and ensure everything’s on track.
  • Streamline Communication:
Use the platform to stay in the loop without relying solely on emails.
  • Support, Not Supervise:
View-only access lets you coach and guide while empowering students to lead.
  • Assist with Executive Transitions
With Full Roster access, Advisors can:
    • Monitor and update executive positions when needed.
    • Assist new leaders as they step into their roles.
    • Help maintain club continuity year over year.
