Clubs are expected to promote and maintain respectful, responsible conduct at all times during events and activities.
Club Leader Responsibilities
- The Primary Event Organizer (PEO) must be present for the entire duration of the event.
- Club executives and volunteers must take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of all participants.
- Event volunteers and organizers must remain sober at events involving alcohol.
High-Risk or Repeat Issue Events
If an event has had past safety concerns, or is deemed high risk, NAITSA Campus Clubs may:
- Request a more detailed risk management plan.
- Require additional supervision, waivers, or insurance.
- Decline the event if risks cannot be properly managed.
