Effective risk management is essential for the success of your club events and activities. It’s the process of identifying, assessing, and minimizing potential risks that could disrupt your plans, cause harm, or damage your club’s and NAITSA’s reputation.

By planning ahead, you:

  • Protect your club, your members, and NAITSA Campus Clubs.
  • Minimize potential legal or financial consequences.
  • Improve your event’s overall safety and professionalism.

Submitting your Event Submission form on ookslife.ca includes a built-in risk assessment. This process is not optional—no events will be approved without a completed and reviewed risk assessment.

For high-risk activities, your event must be submitted at least two weeks in advance and may require additional planning or insurance coverage.
