Selling Merchandise
Your club has a few great options for selling merchandise—including bake sale items—both on-campus and online. Each method has its own setup process and timelines, so plan ahead and submit your request early through the Event Submission form on ookslife.ca.
Hallway Sales (On-Campus)
Selling items like hoodies, stickers, or treats at a bake sale? You’ll need to:
- Create an Event Submission on ookslife.ca.
- Choose a hallway location and time.
- You can accept cash or request to use the NAITSA Campus Clubs Square Machine to take debit, credit, or mobile payments.
If you’re hosting a bake sale, you must:
- Complete the Food Safety Certification.
- Visit the Food & Beverage section for complete details on hosting bake sales.
Using Square?
- Book Square machines through CHEQROOM.
- Complete required Square training beforehand.
- Book your Square training session here.
Already Trained in 2024/25?
If you’ve completed Square training during the 2024/25 academic year, you do not need to retake the training. However, your Square account must be reactivated before use.

Note: You must be an active NAIT student to access and use Square equipment.

NAITSA Square eCommerce
Need an online store to sell your club’s merchandise? NAITSA Square eCommerce is perfect for sales over $5.00.
- Great for hoodie sales, memberships, or fundraiser items.
- NAITSA covers all admin fees, so your club receives full revenue.
- When your sale ends, NAITSA Campus Clubs will provide a summary of funds and orders for easy distribution.
To request Square eCommerce:
- Submit your event on ookslife.ca.
- Indicate that you need Square (eCommerce) as an additional service.
Important: Do not create your own Square account. NAITSA manages this process for your club. External accounts won’t be supported.
